Fun activities thrill visitors at CNY do

BINTULU: Locals were treated by Naim Group of Companies to a host of fun activities in celebration of the Chinese New Year recently.

Held at Naim Bintulu Paragon’s Street Mall — Sarawak’s largest street mall — the events commenced with a lion dance followed by a showcase of talents, courtesy of the finalists of Naim CNY Children’s Singing Competition held earlier this month.

Visitors were also enthralled by a spectacular lion dance and dragon dance acrobatic performance and by the double-storey ‘House of Fortune’.

Guests were subsequently entertained by the winners of Naim CNY dancing competition and the ‘God of Fortune’ who made an appearance.

Naim’s head of property for Bintulu region Abang Mahathir Mohamed thanked members of the public for their support of the events.

“This is our way of ushering in the ‘Year of the Earth Dog’ with the Bintulu community — the fun way. It was also an excellent opportunity for us to engage with the community within our area of operation,” said Abang Mahathir in a Naim press statement yesterday. He added that Naim Bintulu Paragon has emerged as the current ‘buzz word’ for an exciting ‘live, work and play’ experience.

“Being the largest integrated development in Bintulu, Naim Bintulu Paragon creates a benchmark not only for Bintulu, but also Sarawak. Besides being strategically located at the heart of Bintulu town, it features Sarawak’s largest and longest street mall, the innovatively designed small-office, versatile-office (Sovo), Sarawak’s tallest condominium tower called ‘The Peak’ and also Bintulu’s first international hotel, the Fairfield by Marriott.”

Naim Bintulu Paragon has managed to attract the interest of property purchasers and branded tenants, among them Petronas, Public Bank, Econsave Cash and Carry, popular F&B chains such as Old Town White Coffee – the chain’s first outlet in Bintulu, KFC, Sugarbun and SCR, as well as Mr DIY and ‘YOYOSO’ – both popular lifestyle household brands, and also KCSH Projects Departmental Store that offers a good range of fashion wear and household products, with many more to come.

“As such, I urge those interested in exploring Naim Bintulu Paragon’s exciting property ownership and leasing opportunities,” Abang Mahathir said.

Meanwhile, visitor Kelvin Lim said he was happy with the events held at Naim Street Mall.

“The events were colourful. We had an enjoyable time. It’s also very convenient because Naim Bintulu Paragon has sufficient carparks and is located in the town centre,” he said.

Another visitor, who wished to be known only as Wong, described Naim Street Mall as customer-friendly.

“The street mall is friendly for all customers, including the physically-challenged.

“It has a reasonable choice of offerings such as food and household items,” he said.
