Naim donates RM50,000 each to SJK Chung Hwa Sungai Jernang and SRB St Christopher Debak

As part of its commitment towards Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR), Naim Cendera Holidngs Berhad (NAIM) recently donated RM50,000 each to SJK Chung Hwa Sungai Jernang and SRB St Christopher Debak.
The donation handing over ceremony was performed during the recent Eastern Times Press Run 2008 held at Padang Merdeka on February 17.

On hand to present the mock cheque to the two schools’ representative was Naim’s Chairman, Datuk Abdul Hamed Sepawi and was witnessed by Sarawak Chief Minister, Yang Amat Berhormat Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud.

Also present during the function were Naim’s Managing Director, Datuk Hasmi Hasnan and local dignitaries.

SJK Chung Hwa of Kampung Sungai Jernang in Kota Samarahan was established in 1938 and was meant to cater for a population of 20 odd students but now has 158 students of which 36% are Bumiputera.
