Naim volunteers raise RM3,000 for Pibakat

KUCHING: Naim Group of Companies recently helped at the Sarawak Society for Parents of Children with Special Needs (Pibakat) Food Fair and Charity Sale and raised some RM3,000.

Around 20 Naim volunteers participated in the charitable event, which was held at the Christian Ecumenical Worship Centre.

Naim Corporate Communications head Caroline Yeo said Naim, one of Malaysia’s leading developers and contractors, has always supported community and welfare related activities.

“Our group has always been active in corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities and in fact, has a dedicated CSR team focusing on formulating and initiating CSR-related programmes yearly,” she said in a statement yesterday.

Yeo said Naim’s CSR programmes range from areas involving education and environment to health and welfare.

“We believe that everyone should play their part in giving back to the community and every little help counts,” she said.

Yeo commended Pibakat’s efforts in relation to children with special needs.
