Safety and security a priority at Naim The Peak condominiums

BINTULU: Excitement fills the air as the Bintulu community awaits the completion of Naim The Peak Condominium Homes – a residential component within Naim Group of Companies’ flagship development, Naim Bintulu Paragon.

Dominating the skyline of Bintulu, the 34-storey Naim The Peak offers a plethora of lifestyle facilities for its residents as well as a multi-tiered security system.

“The development focuses on various key aspects of lifestyle such as recreation, security and safety of its residents.“On recreation, Naim The Peak offers a range of lifestyle-centric facilities such as swimming pool, gym and others at its facilities floor. In terms of security and safety, besides offering a multi-tiered security system, the development also focuses on other aspects of safety, such as fire safety,” he said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Naim The Peak’s mechanical and electrical consultant Anthony Tiong of Perunding UZL Sdn Bhd, said the development would provide systems, facilities and equipment to facilitate fire safety.

“Naim The Peak’s systems, facilities and equipment are in compliance with the Sarawak Building Ordinance, and Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba)’s requirements.

“In fact, the development has passed the Bomba inspection recently, a requirement for the occupation permit (OP) application,” he said.

Apart from the sprinkler system at the common areas and wet-riser and hose reel systems, the development also has fire alarm and detection system on all floors.

The development provides auto-CO2 suppression system at various rooms with equipment, namely main switch board room, switchgear room, transformer room, gen set room and lift motor room.

Naim The Peak also has a pressurisation system at all its lift lobbies.

Other features available include the smoke-spill system on the lower ground floor, fireman intercom on all floors and the Automatic Fire Alarm Monitoring Control System (SPKA), which is linked to Bomba in the event of fire alarm activation.

Features and equipment aside, Ling added that standard operating procedures relating to emergencies and emergency response plan were already in place.

“We will embark on various engagements with our residents on fire safety and periodic fire drills.

“We are also looking into conducting yearly comprehensive building audits with certified experts in this field,” he said.
