Naim Street Mall offering attractive leasing mega deals

KUCHING: Those interested in operating businesses in Bintulu can now take advantage of leasing ‘mega deals’ being offered at Naim Street Mall.

Located within the vibrant Naim Bintulu Paragon integrated development, Naim Street Mall is Sarawak’s largest street mall to-date. Naim Bintulu Paragon is also one of Naim Group of Companies’ flagship developments in the state.

Naim’s Bintulu regional general manager Abang Mahathir Mohamed under this promotion, monthly rentals start from RM888, subject to various terms and conditions. The promotion started yesterday and runs to Sept 30.

“With Bintulu being the heart of Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy’s (SCORE) long-term economic development programme and also set to be the petrochemical hub in the country, it has become one of the fastest-growing towns in Malaysia. This has created a positive business climate for SMEs.

“Our Street Mall is an appealing option for business operators as it is strategically located within the heart of Bintulu and surrounded by large population catchments.

“Besides the surrounding population catchments, businesses operating within our Street Mall can also gain access to the catchment within Naim Bintulu Paragon, estimated to be 2,000 and growing. For example, Petronas – one of our major tenants – has about 500 workforce based at Naim Bintulu Paragon,” said Abang Mahathir.

He added other factors which add value to business success include the mall’s 24-hour security, more than 1,500 carpark bays ensuring convenience for mall patrons, and a nicely landscaped alfresco piazza suitable for holding large events, thus boosting traffic to the mall.

Due to these attributes, he said Naim Street Mall has managed to attract large food and beverage chains such as KFC, Old Town White Coffee and SCR; lifestyle and household chains such as ‘YOYOSO’, MR D.I.Y. and Signature Kitchen; as well as KCSH Project Departmental Store, telecommunications service providers such as Digi, and many others.

Adding to the string of F&B chains is Malaysia’s renowned Lada Merah restaurant, as well as Asian Taste, Eve Garden, and childcare centre Little Averroes.

Naim Street Mall is welcoming another tenant soon – a learning centre – located in the same venue.

In addition, Naim is also committed to inspiring and supporting young entrepreneurs in business endeavours.

“We are looking into various means to support entrepreneurs, one of which includes organising a series of training and development initiatives in collaboration with relevant parties such as banks.

“In fact, to kick-start this, we will be organising a special business talk in collaboration with SME Bank Bintulu on Sept 14 (today) starting at 2.30pm at Naim’s The Peak condominium. All are invited,” he added.
